29-30 APR 2023 - CUMMINS POND AREA, DORCHESTER, NH
The Upper Valley Wilderness Response Team (UVWRT) will be hosting a training weekend 29-30 April, in Dorchester, NH
Planned training activities include day and night land navigation, map/compass/GPS reading, search tactics, litter carry, extraction techniques, and sheltering. NHARNG aviation will be in attendance as well. A specific schedule has not been published yet.

TRauma resilience for sar members
25 MAR 2023- HOLDERNESS SCHOOL, HOLDERNESS, NH
The March 25th training was presented by Dr. Nicole Sawyer, who specializes in phycology.
The presentation touched on quite a few topics including:
Our experiences as responders
The human stress response and stress levels
Chronic stress and its effects on the brain
How we process traumatic events
Alcohol/Drug use
Sleep and effects of stress
Compassion and how to cope with Trauma
Today's training was attended by NHNG-VSAR members, New Hampshire Fish & Game Officers, including Colonel Kevin Jordan, and several other SAR agencies from around the state.

FIRST TRAINING EVENT
7 MAY 2022- ECTC PEMBROKE, NH
Our first quarterly training event will be held at the Edward Cross Training Complex at 722 Riverwood Drive Pembroke NH 03275 on Saturday, May 7th from 0900-1300 rain or shine.
SCHEDULE
0900-1000- Program Introduction, Standing Order Brief with ESGR, Signal, Q&A with CSM Ferland
1000-1300- Training Scenario- Equipment Load Out with SFC Osborne, Line and Hasty Searches with LT Kneeland of NH Fish & Game, Harris Radio, and SHOUT GPS with SSG DeAngelis.
1300- Main Body Dismissal, ADMIN due-outs with SSG McPherson and SSG VanTassel.
UNIFORM
Uniform for the event is the ACU/Duty, Appropriate gear for the weather, water, and snacks to last throughout the day.
